I thought no place could surpass Sushi California’s udon but this place did with this seafood udon so creamy so good. They also gave us dynamite sushi on the house. The food did take a bit long but I still definitely recommend this place.
ALWAYS a 5/5 experience for both take out and eat in! The staff are so kind and attentive. They always remember us, even when we haven't been there for a few months! For take out, staff usually include a cute note or free item The sushi is by far our favourite in the lower mainland! So yummy and fresh, great variety on the menu!
I hesitate to write this review since I don't want my new favorite sushi bar to get too busy!! Stopped in last night for first time, and was very impressed. As a former Japanese restaurant owner, I am more critical than most and don't hand out great reviews lightly. Casey and family do an amazing job! The fish cuts were not only huge, but extremely fresh and well presented. The Unagi was Ginormous and also the Hamachi. Loved the hot sake warmer they provide and the staff was very attentive without being intrusive. We will be back often even though it's a bit of a drive. My only criticism is they don't offer many large beers but they do have Asahi on draft, so that makes up for it. More cold sake selections would be good too. Thanks again Casey.
Came here on a weekend around 5 PM and they were busy however, we were looked after right away. We ordered the party tray, their mix tempura and their house salad and everything tasted amazing. They have the cutest set up as well. Great value for the amount of food that we have ordered. Will definitely come back again. All the staff members were so polite. We even got a complimentary deep fried sushi from their chef.

Came here for lunch. Ordered chicken lunch box and charchidon. Such humongous dishes! Very flavorful . Highly recommend!
Stopped by on a Friday, 530. A busy spot with both dine in and take out business that is well organized. App drivers have there own pick up area so not stuck watching a line of people come in and out constantly. Food was great. Fresh and fast. Great value in the special rolls - Aloha roll did not disappoint. Gyoza and basic rolls are well executed too. This is on my list now for when I’m in the area.
I am always happy with everything about Sushi Ami. Tonight I was even more surprised & thrilled. When I order at places lately the amounts seem to shrink just like chocolate bars have. Tonight I feel like my food amount has amazingly tripled. There was so much - probably because with other places I expect less now so I expected it will be less everywhere. But not here! And they sent an extra tasty treat like they always do when eating inside the restaurant. We don’t eat out a lot but this is worth the price. I am truly satisfied. And it was delicious!
